Brewery draught 3/29/25.
Clear copper with a rose tint. Little/no head.
Very light on the blueberry with light lactic acidity. Earthy, grainy, very scant bit of caramel. Clean enough.
Tart, with a touch of sweet malt leading to moderate lactic acidity and very minimal blueberry flavor. Vague fruit sugar, more like. Very basic kettle sour, not very interesting or compelling but fairly competent.

Brewery draught, 3/23/25.
Clear blonde-golden. Small, white head, moderate retention.
Bright and hoppy with some earth, a bit of cracker and biscuit and mostly an herbs and pepper finish. Clean. Mildly fruity.
Light-bodied but ample for its size with crackery malts, lots of herbs, floral notes, mild yellow fruits and mild yeast fruitiness. Clean. Snappy with good bitterness on the finish.

Brewery draught, 3/23/25.
Dark copper. Small, dark beige head.
Juicy, bright, authentic cherry with a hint of earthy cacao. Clean no sugar or booze.
Dry and fruity but with ample body. Zippy cherry acidity and flavor. Pepper, hints of roast and cherry juice with a touch of toffee and vanilla.

Brewery draught, 3/23/25.
Clear, bright amber. Thin, but well-retained, beige head.
Beany. Some toast, some wood. Not overly aromatic or interestingly expressive.
Toasty, lightly sweet. Stewed grains and pepper. More toast. Not thin but too dry for all this toast. Bean and scratchy paper. Not much in the way of any redeeming quality.

Brewery draught, 3/23/25.
Clear rusted-copper-amber. Small, butter-beige head.
Deep, dry wood smoke. Rich and dominant but allowing biscuity malts, pepper and all sorts of crazy smoke variations. Clean. Malt feels sparse but not unsupportive.
Ashy, smokey, very charred and dry with a smokey acidity. Round fruitiness keeps the acid/dryness from running away with things, but it's a bit dicey. That said, it's dry, has a wonderful smoked complexity and some good minerality. Earthy, peppery, very dry finish.

Brewery draught, 3/23/25.
Golden-copper. Lemon-tinged head. Good retention. Clear.
Very fruity, with cherry, juicy almond paste and a bit of toast/roast. Clean. Seems sweet. No alcohol noted.
Hmm, not that sweet. An almond-cherry-vanilla character with plentiful acidity and a round texture with pleasing fruitiness, brown sugar and a juicy maple/honey richness that is anchored by a proper body. Interesting unique and not over-adjuncted. There's a good deal of almond but it's done well, and integrated.

750mL bottle drunk 11/17024. Light haze, deep peach-bronze-cantaloupe. Small, off-white head. Almonds, lime, bit of lactic and light Brett acidity with strong malt and strong Sacch character. Fruity, rich, a bit boozey. Kinda oaky, very fruity, woody, moderately tart, juicy, rich, malty, alcoholic. It's interesting and rich, malty but a bit much, and I'm not sure I want my old fashioned to be sour-based.

5oz brewery draught, 11/17/24. Cola-licorice. Clear. Thin, dark beige head. Juicy, rich, rounded. There's acidity but it's not aggressive. Good chocolate and honey-like maltiness in support. Tasteful fruit additions. Juicy, fruity, lightly chocolatey. Super interesting culture. Lighter body, wouldn't hate a bit more depth but it's not very acidic, so not a big problem. Obviously well-cared-for.

5oz draught at the brewery, 11/17/24. Clear, not pitch black. Small, light tan head quickly to ring. Comforting bourbon spice and rich, caramel and chocolate-toned malts with no booze. Lots of spicy bourbon with low oak/low tannin. Chewy texture, not thick or syrupy, high attenuation. Not thin, but a more medium body. No overt booze, though some warming in the finish alongside the heavily spicy bourbon. That's some excellent barrel character, really adds a lot of flavor and complexity. Balanced and interesting. Definitely some blueberry spice/skin and mead phenolics.

Brewery draught, 11/17/24. Clear medium amber. Small, off-white head. Black tea, various spice and mild citrus with fruity yeast, plaster/mineral and low roast. Very clean and aromatic. Soft, malty, with a bit of chewy caramel and notes of tea and citrus from hop. Reasonable malt depth, slightly interrupted by a bit of heavier toast. Quite dry. Lingering red fruit and mild citrus with low to moderate bitterness.
