(bottle, 33cl, as Main Seidla Craft Brown Ale, 6.2% abv) Stout-like appearance: very dark brown colour with a beige and firm medium-sized foamy head. Roasty malty aroma with notes of dark chocolate, mocha and ground coffee beans. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Roast-malty taste with notes of chocolate cake, mocha and a whiff of dried fruits; balanced and lasting bitter-sweet finish. Good. 31.V.18

Tap. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is sulphuric, grainy, grassy. Taste is sulphuric, grainy, grassy, dough, fresh. Silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Good!

Tap. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is crackers, grassy, grainy. Taste is crackers, grassy, grains. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Decent, but not great.

Clear medium to light yellow orange colour with a large, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, light hay - grass, moderate hoppy, orange, sweet orange, sweet hops, fruity hops, light grass - hay. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, orange, sweet fruit, sweet hops, sweet malt, pale malt - caramel, rich malt, light hay - grass, medium dry. €-Fläschla: Pale greenish-golden, a bit unclear, visible carbonation, small and stable white foamy layer; mild and clean pale-malty nose with hayish and citrussy hops in the background; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, hardly medium bodied and a bit fizzy; lingering malty - nearly a bit honeyish - finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Tasty Helles, but it would be better, if it was less fizzy and more "ungespundet"...

In Nase und stärker auch im Trunk sehr röstig, malzig. Hat fast schon Porter-Qualität. Mittig dann leichte Süße, langer röstiger Abgang. Sehr bekömmlich, tolle Herbe.
