500ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear gold with the merest white head. Steady carbonation. Aromas of butterscotch, floral hops, light metallic note. Taste is slightly sweaty, light astringency, caramel. Thin finish. Not massively different to a hundred other UK filtered blonde ales. I shall enjoy being top rater of this brewery for a short time anyway!

Bottle sample thanks to the brewery. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - sweet meadow flower, gorse, slight coconut. Maybe custard. Taste - lemon and more creamy custard. Light lemon bitterness on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly balanced dry finish. Overall - a good example of the style.
