Established in 2003
In 2007 we relocated to our existing building, designed and built from scratch. With constant growth, Brewhouse expansion, new products and revamped recipes, we’ve travelled through kegs to cans to 650ml bottles and into growlers, currently distributing throughout BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and into Manitoba. As we continue to grow, we’ll never forget our roots. It’s as simple as Good Beer from a Good Town.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy pink-red with a small, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Mild aroma of Belgian yeast, tart cherry and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of cherry, bready wheat malt, Belgian yeast and floral hops in a dry, slightly tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and crushable.

A little noble hops. Crisp enough as a pilsner. Easy drinking. Rich golden pour with big fluffy initial head. Crisp finish. Can.

Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark, almost black, medium sized beige head. Mild aroma of roasted malts with a hint of wine. Decent strength, but very little sweetness left; the roasted malt is quite strong, luckily the red wine is minimal, it doesn't add much acidity, but it highlights the roastiness.
Decent (overpriced).

Dull gold, slight haze, thin head. I like those melony subtropical fruit notes, some apricot, nice. On the palate, hmmm... ok bitterness, more herbal than I was expecting, toasty. Just okay.

Dark brown. No head. Nice tart wine barrelly notes, and some roasty stout stuff. Has a harshness to it. Just a wine note, lots of roast, big bitterness. There's some good here, especially a toffee, fruitcake note, but it's clumsy, I guess would be the word.

650mL bottle, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out some phenols, red wine tannins and light roast. Flavour is a little better -- there's tons of red wine tannins, light-to-moderate phenols, and light roast. The tannins are nice, but the phenols are not. Not terrible, but this isn't cleanly executed.

650ml waxed bottle. Pours an opaque black with a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of chocolate malt, toffee, raisin, cherry, red wine, oak and floral hops. Sweet flavour of roasted chocolate malt, licorice, cherry, red wine, raisin, oak and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Full body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. ABV is well hidden. Nicely done. My favorite offering from these guys.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Pale blond colour, hazy. Nice aroma, fruity, white grapes. The mouthfeel is dry and crispy, delicate bready malt flavour; good level of bitterness, with some hop resins, grass, melon, grapes, lemongrass. Sharp finish.
Quite good.
