From bottle at Carnivale Brettanomyces. Aroma is dark malt, rum barrel, notes of tart fruit, toffee, some red fruit. Some alcohol burn, light tart and sweet. Nice.

(Draft at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 21 Feb 2025) Reddish amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, apricots, orange peel, toast and brown sugar. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, apricots, orange peel, toast and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Almsot full body, quite sweet. Well balanced and harmonious winter warmer. Nice one.

Bottle at home. Opaque golden pour with a thick frothy white head. Nose and taste are dominated mainly by fruity esters, perhaps a bit too much so for my liking. Other than those it shows malty notes, grains, light phenolic spicyness. Light bodied with a dry finish and lively carbonation.
