500ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection. Poured into an old 'Leffe' chalice at my daughters in Laguna Hills on 12th April 2025. Nice ruby hue to the red body, wispy off-white head. Caramel malty nose and initial taste, slightly sweet front; calms down a little mid-sip but the hops are a second consideration in this Bock (as is normal). I enjoyed this and it's always a pleasure to get another Saxony tick when ever I can.

500ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection and drank in California on 11th April 2025. Clean light golden body, white head that soon turned to a wisp and collar. Dry and refreshing but lacking in any aroma or depth of flavour. Damp cardboard comes to mind as I sniff and sip it. The only beer I haven't actually liked from the 20 or so I've had from the box so far.

Had this as berliner bock (see photo). Mercury and buttery yeast. Clear golden pour with ok head. Light lingering tin on the finish. Can. --- Beer aliased from original tick of St. Marienthaler Klosterbräu Bock on 16 Oct 2025 at 22:53 - Score: Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Among the better of the St. M beers, and Eibauer in general. This one has a bit of nice barley profile. Some light mercury, a hint of butter. Bread dough. Pours clear golden with decent head. Can from Costco calendar.

Costco German Biergarten Collection, 500ml can on 1st April 2025 while on holiday in California. Hazy old gold body, white crust. Bready/grainy nose and taste, herbal twist there too.

500 ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection. Pours a crystal clear yellow-gold color with a large white head and great retention. Great lacing too. Very faint pale lager aroma. Very bready malt flavor with slight sulfur notes in the finish. Not as sweet as most pale lagers or Helles beers. Clean and smooth. Not bad if you don't mind the Euro lager notes. Medium body. Very low carbonation. Not bitter.

Aroma of malt, bread, grain, caramel, some roast. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bittersweet finish. Not impressed, too thin and weak.

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Clear dark amber in the glass, with a nearly two finger light tanned head. More coco with some sourness than malt on the nose. I don´t like coco. Taste is sweet. Coco with malt. Little bit artificial. Higher abv shandy ...
