Poured from 355mL can (thanks Sammy; pkg Sept 27, 2023). Clear-ish yellow gold with large white head. Mild cereal malt with quite light grass hops. Simple, decent.

Can: Poured an amber color lager with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of nice dry caramelized cereal notes with hints of herbal hops notes. Taste is also a mix of dry caramelized cereal notes with some herbal hops notes and a semi-sweet finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed dunkel with good drinkability.

Poured from 355mL can (thanks Sammy; pkg 02/Nov/2023). Hazed deep gold with white head. Subdued pils malt with saaz hops. Nice hops, but the malt expression seems a bit muted. Least favourite of the three beers from True History I've tried so far, still okay.

12oz shared with Josh @ Ryan's (thx for the beer, man!). Appearance: almost clear blonde with a white head. Aroma: flowery and a bit grassy, crispy. Taste: along the same lines, quite bitter. Overall: refreshing, but a bit too bitter for me.

Pale gold, there's a fair bit of grassy noble hop on the aroma. A bit of pale malt, some spiciness there, too, almost like cumin seed. On the palate, dry, lean, good pale malt. Moderate bitterness, again with a herbaceous hop, and again a slight cumin note... so Tango is a new hop for me and this is a new character for me. I'm guessing that's not a coincidence. Very solid brew.

355mL can, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of bready malt, toasted caramel, and a little toasted nuts. Flavour is dry and malty, with lots of toasted nuts, bready malt, and a tiny hint of sweetness. Dry, bready, nutty finish. Well-made.
