500 ml bottle at the restaurant "Chophouse" in Sydney, on October 14, 2015.Clear brown color, off-white to tan head. Malty, light toasted, earthy hoppy scent. Herbal, floral, hoppy taste. Bitter aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Feels fairly dry and attenuated.

New Beer Distributors, NYC tap: pours golden with little head. Aroma is apple and kiwi and stuff. Taste is kind of sweet. Some complexity in there. Nice aftertaste. Do not really see the kiwi. Not bad.

Opaque black - brown beer, tidy tan head. Palate is light and has a mild crispness. Modest winey nose. The dark malts are thin but flavoursome, some licorice and a little roast bitterness. Trace of wood. Very mild red wine and berries. Light dry finish. Modest bitter linger. Not bad but not the big sumptuous treat I hoped for.

Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and crisp. Thin creamy malts. Yeast. Little fresh orange, bitterish pith. Fairly strong bitterness develops. Not getting much Nelson here. Finishes smooth with touches of hop spice, citrus peel and lemon. Overall slightly disappointing, was hoping for much more Nelson from a NZ brewed beer!

Bright clear reddish amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light, smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts bring caramel - toffee sweetness. Marmalade hops, quite bitter. Fresh citric peel. Smooth and bitter finish, long bitter linger. Tasty but quite bitter.

Bottle shared at the Bottle Shop, Bermondsey - London. Cheers to Kenneth for this one! Pours clear, matte pink with a light, white cream head. The aroma holds cherry pits, light wood, lemon. Light sweet flavor, with lightly sugary dried berries, apple skin, wood, must, cherry. Light bodied with average carbonation. Very dry on the finish, with notes of damp wood, dried citrus, cherry peels. Not bad.

Bottle shared at the Bottle Shop, Bermondsey - London. Thanks to the generous heart of Kenny for this one. Vintage 2013. Pours unclear, pale yellow with a frothy, white head. Nice lemon aroma, with accents of pale wood and hay. Light to medium sweet flavor, fairly dry, with faint cereal, lemon, pale bread. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Somewhat clean to finish, slightly sweet, with more lemon, light apple notes, some pale woody dryness. Overall, it’s pretty tasty.

Bottle big thanks to Kenny. It pours cloudy golden with a small white head. The nose is fresh, funky, white wine, gooseberry, lactic acidity, white wine vinegar and tang. The taste is crisp, tart, minerals, lemon rind, some acidity, white wine vinegar, white grape, gooseberry, creaminess and a decent lactic bite with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Well rounded and quaffable. Rather nice.

Hazy amber - peach beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry and crispy. Light minerals. Touch of vinegar. Suppressed and mildly sour cherry. Modest brett. Light dry finish brings some tannins. Nice but nit a patch on the Sour Blanc.
