Farbe schön trübes orange. Gekochte und vergorene Früchte, florale Noten, minimale Sektnuance. Eine leicht bittere Note schwebt über allem. Viel, extrem feinperlige Kohlensäure, trotzdem noch weich.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear Golden with a lacing, white head. Pleasant aroma of malt and noble hops. Medium body, clean malts, subdued bitterness. Very straight. 071021

Die Farbe zeigt sich kräftig goldgelb. Dazu eine überschaubare feine Perlage, die langsam nach oben steigt. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone gibt sich akkurat stabil und ebenso ganz gut haltbar. Im Duft sehr süßlich und leicht staubig - Zuckermais, leichte fruchtige Hefe und zarte Noten von Getreide und Brot. Der Antrunk kommt angenehm frisch und leicht malzig bis herb. Am Gaumen ebenso süßliche Aromen von Zuckermais und Getreide/Brot, aber auch eine etwas kantig-herbe Hopfenaromatik. Ich weiß nicht recht was ich davon halten soll. Es ist nicht übel, aber auch nicht wirklich harmonisch. Die Bezeichnung "mäßig" trifft es wahrscheinlich am besten. Ja... in allen Belangen mäßig. Der Abgang flacht von der Malzaromatik her relativ rasch ab. Nach einiger Zeit bleiben Hopfenherbe und dieses etwas unpassende Zuckermais-Aroma übrig.

Die Optik zeigt sich ziemlich hellgelb mit beinahe grünlich wirkenden Reflexen, jedoch wird es aufgrund der Trübung ein wenig eingedunkelt. Die weiße, grobporige Schaumkrone ist gut stabil und auch ganz gut haltbar. In der Nase wirkt dieses Zwickl beinahe wie ein Weizen - feine, fruchtige, leicht muffige Hefenoten, leicht Säure und getreidige Malzaromatik. Der Antrunk kommt angenehm leicht, frisch und spritzig. Im Mittelteil bestätigt sich auch die Aromatik, die sich bereits in der Olfaktorik manifestiert hat. Sehr präsente Hefearomen dominieren das Spektaktel. Fruchtig, leicht bananig, dezent zitrusaromatisch. Die Malzaromatik zeigt sich maximal hintergründig und das Hopfenaroma schwimmt wohl irgendwo in der Fruchtaromatik mit. Auch wenn sich dieses Bier durchaus vollmundig zeigt, wirkt es doch ziemlich seifig und eine Spur zu aufschäumend. Mundgefühl und Süffigkeit wären in diesem Fall als mäßig zu bezeichnen. Im Abgang kommt eine durchaus interessante Würze auf, welche sich mit den bereits erwähnten Hefenoten mischt. Ich kann nicht sagen, wieso ich mit diesem Zwickl nicht warm werde. Normalerweise bin ich ein absoluter Fan von Zwickelbieren, aber mit diesem komme ich nicht wirklich nicht zusammen.

Bottle at home. Pours clear golden with white head. Aroma of light bread, malt, some floral and citrussy notes. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Thin bodied. Definitely a very good Helles.

Bottle. Murky deep yellow color, with big thick white head, lasting for a while. Aroma is light banana, caramel. Taste too, some spiciness. Sweetish, a bit watery texture compared to the best weizen. Medium carbonation. Good weizen.

Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with notes of malt and papery touches. Sour-sweetish flavour of yeast, with notes of malt and papery touches. Estery and malty aftertaste. OK.

Bottle, 5.1%. Weak dusty and floral hop aroma. Clear golden colour. Small stable frothy white head. The flavour is nicely papery and bready with a sort of liquorice note than tastes better than it sounds. Quite malty, and almost sweet, but not sugary at all.
