Description

At Van Moll corona fest. Ugly unclear orange, no head. Smell and taste sweetish, apple, sourish, meh. Don't like it.

Bottle. Color: Clear dark purplish red, stable long lasting frothy pink head. Nice lacing. Aroma: Red wine, subtle sweet and light tart, red wine, some farmyard and leathery funk, some wood. Taste: Moderate sweet, light bitter and very light, wine-like tartness. Funky, fruity, oak wood, tannins. Subtle leathery funk. Fruity notes of blueberry, some red fruit, red wine, grapes. Quite a lot of tannins. Somewhat more bitterness and leather towards and at the fruity, vinuous finish. Dry-ish, bit foamy, vinuous mouthfeel. Medium body, below average carbonation. Tasting like a beer-wine hybrid. Interesting and nice one! Curious about the other flavours in this serie.

Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Sourish, tropical fruit, salty. Taste: Moderate sweet, light to moderate salty, lightly sour. Notes of peaxh, stone fruit, some tropical fruit hints. Lacking refreshment because it's too sweet and salty compared to the other flavours, in my opinion. Just below medium body, just below average carbonation. Ok, but I was hoping for better.

Cloudy dull peachy blond colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have sweet tropical fruit. There is a genuine salty edge to this one. Decent body too.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ hetbiermoment.nl. Dutch brewery #365. Hazy golden with a huge white head. Floral aroma with some cloves. Semi-sweet taste with a dry finish. Way over-carbonated and not funky enough for a saison but otherwise more or less decent.

Rusty orange colour with thin soapy head. Aroma and flavour have vanilla and wood notes set against tart cherry pits. Lots of Rodenbach influence.

Sampled at Poesiat & Kater's 2019 Stout Fest. Black colour. Brownish head, not much. Aroma's: sweet, vanilla. Retronasal it's sweetish, boozy alcohol, vanilla. Flavour is heavy sweet, a bit alcoholic. Fairly strong alcohol feel. Almost full bodied. Long finish, moderate bitter, roasted. Impressive, much better than expected from this almost unknown brewery.

Lack with a ring beige head. Aroma of big oak, vanilla, present but not overpowering scotch, chocolate, brownies and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.
