2024 version with 9.2% ABV. Black beer, small head. Aroma is roast, chocolate, malt, liquorice. Taste is liquorice, roast, coffee, malt, hint of very dark chocolate, light sweetness, very dry roasty aftertaste. Very nice.

Bottle shared thanks to Alexander. Black with no head. Massive whisky, licorice, chestnuts, pecans, coffee, vanilla, earthy. Quite sweet, boozy bitter. Full bodied, no carbonation. Great.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Big dried fruit aroma with caramel, brown malts, lots of raisins, figs, plum, tobacco. Medium sweet with a light bitterness. Above medium body, rich and a bit sticky. Good!

Black and thick with a dark head. The adjuncts are noticeable but not overwhelming like they can be when unbalanced. A bit of roasted bittersweet during the mostly slick and sweet finish. Turns a touch dry. Full cocoa throughout. Very heavy. Very comfortable.

Bottle. Color: Black, thin brown head. Aroma: Coffee, cocoa, roasted malt. Taste: Smooth and dense mouthfeel, bit creamy, balanced mix of dark coffee, cocoa and roasted malt. Floral hop backbone. Light hints of licorice. Full body, below average carbonation. Moderate to over moderate sweet and bitter. Nice.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Sweet and a bit floral, yeasty, bit spicy, floral hop. Light fruity aroma, but more of the sweet stewed-ish kind. Body is medium. At 7.8% on the high abv side of a Blonde. I like it, sweet and fairly rich.
