Description

0,375l in Antwerp at 1280. Black color, small coffee colored head. Smells bourbon, vanilla, nutty, spices, fudgy. Lovely smell. Full body, light carbonation. Tastes bourbon, vanilla, nutty, oak, sirupy, tad boozy. Finishes lightly sweet with notes of bourbon, oak and nutty notes. Very nice one, tad boozy, rather barrel forward, very good

Hazy dark yellow colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have zesty lime. Slightly skunky. Not sour apart from the citrus hop.

Bottle. Color: Almost black, very thin beige head. Definitely darker than the 10% 2021 Cuvée Anomala version. Aroma: Brett, dark fruit notes, boozy hints, caramel and vanilla. More Brett than I do remember from the 2021 version. Taste: Brett, lightly to moderate tart, vanilla, caramel, dark fruit, blueberry notes and hints of red fruit, fudge hints and subtle wood notes. Slightly hints of licorice. Moderate to over moderate sweet, starting lightly bitter, going to moderate at the finish. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Nice complexity. Once again more Brett than I do remember from the 2021 version. Nicely balanced. Very nice. As a Brett lover I do like this new version slightly more than the less Bretty and tart 2021 version. Looking forward to more Slorea versions of this beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Solera Cuvée Anomala on 08 Aug 2021 at 19:06 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8.5.
