Description
Foam. It's always been an unconscious calling like drifting into a cumulus cloud bank on a sun-drenched day, or collapsing in a frothy curl of a breaking wave. Foam; it's natural beauty that rises up and is here and gone in a moment in time. I have spent my working life in foam, beer foam that is, brewing beer, conjuring up mixtures of malt and hops to ferment into a crowning moment of beer. Great beer has always sat under foam. Foam. It's not one ingredient that gives stability; it's many interwoven to create a structure of strength pouring out visual excitement. As I sit for a time, I enjoy that moment. All that remains is the lacing that adorns the empty glass and the making of a great memory. Until next time, see you under the Foam...

Can to tulip.
Appearance: hazy burnt yellow to orange color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head, slowly dissipated and left very little lace
Aroma: bready malts play with some papayas, clementines and mangoes
Flavor: bittersweet juicy hoppiness through clean maltiness, delicate fruity aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, this seems to be more of a sipper, smooth creaminess, semi-juicy fruity finish
Overall: a very nicely done NEDIPA well worthy of returning to.

Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: burnt yellow color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head, slowly dissipated to leave sly lace
Aroma: piney & orange hoppiness, clean malts
Flavor: previously noted aromas move bittersweet together, mild piney aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, some sessionability about it, mild piney finish
Overall: I'd say a nicely done American IPA worthy of returning to.

Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: amber color with a good transparency about it with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated slowly and left some sly lacing
Aroma: piney/resinous hops with a smooth clean caramel/toffee malt meshing finely
Flavor: bittersweet blend of the prior noted aromas, mild aftertaste of pine & malt
Texture: about medium bodied, somewhat a sipper but could also be a lil bit sessionable, semi-dry piney to caramel finish
Overall: is this a red IPA or a West Coast styled IPA? Hmmmm, I'm not exactly sure but it's good whatever it's supposed to be.

Can. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has lots of hay and some leaves with a bit of sweet grain and straw underlying. Flavor is straw forward with some hay and a just a touch of sweet grain coming through.
