Bottle 50cl. w. swing top @ home.Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, dusty, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bügelverschlußflasche. Deep golden, hazy, smaller off-white layer. Sweetish-grainy nose with a touch of toasted malt and some hoppy edges. Light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft MF. Grainy-fruity - a touch of yeast - finish with a shy bitterness in the aftertaste. O.K., not earth-shaking..........

(swing top bottle) Hazy, orange golden colour with a thick foamy white head. Sweet grainy malty and yeasty aroma, also slightly bready with notes of draff and light but spicy herbal hops in the background. Sweet-bitter flavour, well-bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Aromatic and balanced grainy and bready (cara-)malt-character with notes of honey with light herbal spice; moderately dry finish with a good dash of herbal hops. Balanced Zwickelbier (25.X.08).

Bügelverschlußflasche: Clear golden coloured, bigger and stable white head, sweet-grainy to pale malty nose, backed by a tinge of spicy hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, becomes a bit dryer towards the sweet-grainy finish with some aromatic hops. Bügelverschlußflasche: Straw golden coloured, mid-sized, slowly vanishing fluffy white head, aromatic sweet herbal-grassy hops (presumably Hersbrucker...) in the nose, backed by a small amount of sweet malt; strong bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, quite soft MF; lingering herbal-hoppy and sweet-malty-grainy finish. A very pleasant, well crafted Pilsener.........

Bügelverschlußflasche: Reddish-amber coloured with a small persistent off-white foamy layer, complex sweet-fruity nose with traces of roasted malt, coffee and molasses, covering some aromatic hops; not very sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; a bit dryer fruity-caramelly finish with traces of toasted malt and a light bitterness palatinal. A quite complex, very pleasant brew...........

(swing top bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a big and quite persistent beige foamy head. Sweet toast-malty, slightly nutty nose with cacao, notes of caramel and a noticeable herbal hoppy background. Moderately sweet flavour with a balanced bitterness, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Solid toast-malty taste with notes of chocolate/cacao and caramel; almost dry, sweet-bitter toasty finish with an aromatic hoppy blend. Good.
