330 mL bottle from Brook Falls. Nice to get another Luxembourg tick cause no one ever singles out those Bofferdings around here. Clear pale amber, thin head, fair retention. Aroma of sweet apples, apple skins. Taste is dryer but much the same, with some caramel. Thin, lingering tartness. SweetTarts eventually come along. Odd beast, but it works.

330ml can from Seven Cellars online. Pale golden colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of floral fruity, gooseberry, hoppy. Taste is tart, white wine-like, melon fruity, some apple, woody herby, citric, floral, gooseberry, resiny hop, acidic. Light to medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry acidic bittersweet finish. Quite drinkable.

On tap @Sam Beer (Rome). Gialla brillante, limpida, schiuma leggera. Al naso note di mela, strudel, leggero vinoso. In bocca è dolce, con finale solo leggermente acidulo, secchezza non pervenuta. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-leggera. Non male per un sidro, ma nel complesso modesta.

Bottle at home. Clear orange golden with some white head. Dry apple peel, quite some CO2, earthy. It’s quite dry and earthy with just a touch of apple juice and mostly just dry apple skin notes and mineral water. Light bitter. Over light bodied with fizzy carbonation, medium dry finish and a bit watery touch. Decent.

On tap at Hopaholic, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out champagne notes, with some funk, certainly some wild yeast, and crisp apple skins. Flavour is funky and sweet, with wild yeast, barnyard funk, some champagne and sweet green apples. Higher than average carbonation is fully fitting. This is great.

Soft pear and vanilla. Moderate sweet and bitter. Soft carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Perry on 04 Jun 2018 at 09:49 - Score: 8
