(bottle, 33cl) Clear, amber colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Sweet and mildly toasted malty aroma with distinctive notes of toffee, accompanied by subtle fruity notes and a whiff of herbal and slightly metallic hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Quite dry toffee-ish malty taste with a present herbal hops character, getting slightly metallic towards the dry and moderately bitter finish. Still a likeable Alt-interpretation from Austria. 22.IV.13

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Starts dry-malty, a bit earthy-scratchy. Fruity notes of plum. Finish milder, less dry. Okay.

Lecker! --> 12/11/11/11

Rating from 2010 with 5.1% ABV: Der AT ist herb, aber etwas muffig. --> 10/9/9/9

Floschn(Servus, Herr Professor!): Clear, deep amber coloured, stable creamy tanned head with a good lace, mild sweetish-caramelly nose with a tinge of roasted malt; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite light bodied; a touch of roasted malt, again, in the drier bitter-malty finish. Drinkable at least…

Bottled, 0.50l. Slightly hazy golden color with large frothy white head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of moderate grainy and bready malt, hay, herbal hops and mild notes of green apple and band-aid. Taste starts with light sweet malt, followed by moderate sour grainy, grassy and citric notes. Finish is average long wiht prevailing grassy bitterness. Medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Very drinkable and pretty decent Zwickel...
