Oooh, so now they made a Stout too. Thanks Ogi! Poured a shiny dark brown body, tinged with amber, nearing black with a small off white head. Raisins and malt in the nose, some dust and breadiness. Fresh chalky taste, raisins, very light lemon. Some fruity notes. Strange, but essentially a good beer.

Ogi’s, yay, thanks! Poured a lovely clear amber-red body with a small white head. Cardboard and honey in the nose... what the? Empty (ok, they got that right) honeyish taste, pollen. What? Doesn’t taste like any Irish Ale I’ve had so far. And you know what, I won’t take that against it, as most Irish Ales, if not all, that I’ve had so far, were crap.

Bottled 500ml. -from Merkur supermarket Graz. Shared with Marko and luttonm. Yellow coloured, small airy white head, touch of honey in rather dusty nose. Sweetish malty, grainy and vegetables (carrot) with notes of herbs in the finish. Not so good but still better than the next one we’ve tried (Adebar Biobier).

Whee, another Raschhofer! Poured a yellow-golden body with a medium sized white head. Eggy grainy sweetish nose. Eggy slightly salty yet globally sweet malty taste with some light herbal hops. A really typical Austrian lager, and that’s generally nothing too positive for me. Raschhofer is great in a way because of their will to experiment a little and do "strange style" seasonals, sometimes even well, but their regular "pale lager" lineup, the Pils, Märzen and this are all unfortunately sub par.
