Description
It all started in a shed, no joke! Ian, started home brewing in his garden shed, building recipes inspired by his loved beers. We loved it, our mates loved it, the shed was bursting at the seams, it was time to move to bigger premises. In 2013 Brick was born, and we started building a brewery in a railway arch behind Peckham Rye station, SE London.

Can ordered from Elusive. Aroma has smooth mango with a dry tart edge. Hazy pale orange. Head disappears in seconds. Medium sour... there's an impact but its not intrusive. Mango. Vanilla edge. This takes the edge off the sourness. Vinous. Pulpy. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. I like a Brick sour. This one is easy drinking, pleasent. Uncomplicated if not a heavy hitter.

Fra fat på Muswell Hillbilly Taproom, sammen med Steve: lett uklar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Litt overkarbonert men med deilig syrlighet. Enkel og lettdrikkelig, slank og med lav bitterhet.

Monday 5th August 2024, the last Minutemat led Shrewsbury Beer Gathering, five guys, loads of beer and bollox. Cheers Mike for the 33cl can of this sour puss. Beige roof on a hazed pink body. Thyme will tell and it does in this raspberry flavoured sour, not really my thing, but an interesting concept I suppose.

330ml can @ final tasting, Chez Sophie, Aug 24. Hazed golden yellow, large white. Good mango and apricot definition without getting silly, overly full-bodied and smoothie-like. Very nice.

330ml can @ final beer tasting, Chez Sophie, Aug 24. Pours a misty golden orange, large white head. Bright yuzu aroma, very well defined yuzu character, sharp, zesty with a well-defined fruity sweet character, pithy bitterness. Very good indeed.

330ml can @ final beer tasting, Chez Sophie, Aug 24. Pours a hazed pink, large off-white head, pink tint. Strange combination if truth be told, not sure it works, quite prominent thyme, good tart raspberry. Just not a combination I think works well together.

Monday 5th August 2024, the last Minutemat led Shrewsbury Beer Gathering, five guys, loads of beer and bollox. Cheers Mike for the Out Of Date 33cl can of this. Misty orange body, wisp on top. Lemony aroma and taste, came from the time 'Yuzu' was a popular addition to beers in the UK, pleased that trend has mostly stopped!

Monday 5th August 2024, the last Minutemat led Shrewsbury Beer Gathering, five guys, loads of beer and bollox. Cheers for the Out Of Date 33cl can of this Mike. Opaque yellow/mango, wispy white head. Aroma of mango fruit, semi-sour throughout, but there is a hidden sweetness within it's tart flavours.
