750ml wired cork bottle from the Cider Cask Stall at Durham Christmas Market, Durham Cathedral Cloisters. 4.5%. Opened with a pop. Sparkling, orange gold colour, fizzy white foam head that quickly dissipates to a thin layer and aroma of fruity apple, caramel, custard. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, caramel, pastry, apple pie, bittersweet, with some drying tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Small bottle shared at home. Orangey pour, fizzes and has some white ring head. Sweet musty unfiltered apple juice, sweet, musty, candle wax, moldy and earthy, with a dry bitter and tannin rich finish. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a lively carbonation and a big, foamy but relatively short lived head. Nice aroma of pure apple and apple core with hint of cellar notes. Very nice taste of cider apples, both fresh and ripe, some cellar notes and otherwise rather pure in flavor. Mild refreshing acidity with a gentle touch of wood, particular from the aftertaste. Extremely easy drinkable and well balanced all the way. A really nice everyday cider (or all day cider :-) )
