Nearly clear dark amber, light beige head. Malty, caramely aroma with some mild fruity/floral hops that seem a little tired. Bitter flavour, mild fruity hops, some caramel again. Actutally has a little of that Thisted-metal too.

Bottle at home, courtesy of HenrikSoegaard who had this in his cellar for over 8 years if I remember correctly?! Black pour with a beige head. Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, cocoa powder, dried fruits and molasses. Taste is slightly sweet upfront, showing malty notes of chocolate, coffee, earthy notes, cocoa powder, molasses and prunes and other dried fruits. It then turns slightly bitter (the roasted kind) and the finish is dry. There’s a faint hint of oxidization too, but it’s not too prominent. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Good beer which and it shows its age, which provide additional layers, so thanks a lot Henrik for pulling this one from your cellar!

Bottle as present. Unclear dark golden body with a small tan head. Aroma of strong caramel malt and not much more. Flavor is also dominated by sweet caramel malt, low bitterness and something herbal/floral in the background. OK body but way to sweet in aftertaste. Rather one-dimensional on the caramel malt.
