Lemon-lime, salt, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large white head. Minimally sweet lemon-lime, wheat malt, strong sour citric acid, light salty, and light bitter straw flavor. Good body.

12oz can pours a watery brown, a decent cap of lacey head. Nose has malt and black tea, bread crust. Flavors mostly follow, sweet tea, dries leaves, bread crust, malt and caramel. Finishes off dry, a little tannic.

16oz pours a murky black, leggy, black, beige head. Ginger and malt and cinnamon and cardamon. Flavors same. Big spicy finish. Lots.

Can: Poured a slightly hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing.Aroma of nice fresh pineapple notes with some citrusy hops notes. Taste is also a mix of citrusy hops notes with some fresh pineapple notes and light bitter notes in the aftertaste. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Interesting mix of flavors but juicer hops notes would have been even better.

Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some floral hops undertone and light juicy notes are also perceptible. Taste is a mix of citrusy hops notes with some floral hops notes with a dry finish and light juicy notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable and very Citra focused.

Lightly unclear, golden-amber colour with a creamyish, warm off-white head, good stay and leaves thick, creamy lacing. Rhubarb and strawberry aromas over the fruity malts with hints of vanilla. The sourness really comes out in the taste, lingering, kind of puckering. The fruits are there, and some mild tart is left. A good fruity-sour brew with the strawberries adding sweetness, and the rhubarb blending with the sourness..

12oz @ Ryan's (thx for the beer, dude!). Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: a bit spicy, charred oak, chocolate, some sweetness. Taste: along the same lines, rye nicely adds to the overall complexity. Overall: good one, the best of the three I tried tonight (base, HH, and this one), but I do still think the base requires more thickness!
