Bought last summer at The Real Beer, Bucharest. Shared with lovely Anja. Murky golden turning amber, diminishing off-white head. Intense fruity, tropical from juice or hops, light spicy, light malty. Sweet, juicy, light hops. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, light dry finish. Good fruity beer with a hardly recognizable base style.

Last summer at Beer O'Clock, Bucharest. Shared with lovely Anja. Clear pale golden, small lasting off-white head. Light estery, banana, nicely yeasty and malty. Crisp, sweet, very light citrus. Refreshing, medium to high carbonation, light to medium body, abrupt finish. Nice aromas, maybe a bit too light.

BOTTLE 50 CL from Berero. Hazy dull gold, off-white head. Pretty bold citrus aroma, semu-ripe oranges, orange rind. Dry citrus flavour, a touch of green onion, bold bit soft mouth coating pithy bitterness. Light crisp body. Nice and classic.

At Happy Pub, Bucharest. Shared with lovely Anja! Black, small tan head. Clean blueberry and roasty aromas, hints of coffee. Dry roasty balanced with some fruity sweetness. Smooth, medium to full body, moderate carbonation, lasting dry finish with lots of blueberry aroma. Really nice balance and full taste.

BOTTLE 33 CL from Berero. Almost black, faint ruby highlights, beige head. Chunks of alcohol soaked orange peel upfront, faint chocolaty notes behind. The taste is a medium sweet medium bodied stout - dark sugars, sweet cooking chocolate and some dried prunes. Some of that spicy zest blends into the hot and bitter aftertaste. A brighter, less "dark" stout — an enjoyable departure from the style guidelines.

Smell of alcohol, oak. Bronze colour, high beige head. Aroma of alcohol, raisins, oak, some sugar in finish. Too much alcohol to start with, could've been milder. Very sweet. Oily and viscous texture. Very flat carbon.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Opaque dark brown, mocha head. The aroma is mostly smoke, smoked wood, a little smoked fish, not much malt coming through. The taste is more yummy - sweet dark malts, some brown sugar, charred wood and a hint of smoky bitterness. Good chewy body, thick yet easy-drinking. Very well done.
