We spend our waking hours taking a second look at what defines a traditional style, and from there, we give the recipe boundaries a bit of a nudge. Yeah sure it might not please the Purity Police, and for that, trophies for “correctness” may elude us.
Keep this to yourselves… but actually, we’re good with that.

500ml bottle. Pours clear bright gold orange. Peach, lavender, caramel, biscuit, hay, honey, orange. Good oily body. Tasty.

Tap at Smiths Queenstown. Clear reddish amber with light beige head. Light toasty malts, soft resin, woody, light spruce, caramel, toast, soft grassy and herbal. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with crisp and oily feel. OK but closer to red ale than IPA.

Can. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, hops, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

330ml can. Pours bright orange. Vanilla (nose nothing else), cereal, corn flakes, honey, sweet. Real cereal and milk thing going on. Not a bad beer, certainly a good way to improve a cream ale.

330ml can (was overfilled so a touch explosive). Pours a bright orange brown with good head. Grapefruit, pine resin, bit dank, some bitter orange peel. Aggressively hopped, pretty good.
