Bottle at tasting. Aroma of rich cherry, oak, ripe red fruit, tart, acidic sourness and red berries. Taste has strong sour red fruit, tart, acidic sourness, red berries, oak and a really sour finish. Really sour, but also strong fruit flavors.

Can. Pours a hazy gold with a peach hue and a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has a nice slightly funky tart prickly pear with a lime note and a bit of oak underlying. Flavor has sour prickly pear with a hint of sweetness and a light bit of oak in the finish.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a clearish gold with almost no head. Citrus zest, pineapple and notes of white wine vinegar and oak as it warms. Very tart on the palate with blood orange fruit and zest as it warms. Lingering pith and oak and a strong tart finish.

Bottle shared at our Fury for a Feast share. Thanks Brad! Pours a clearish pink orange with a small bit of white foam. Lemon and rhubarb aromas with some strawberry as it warms. Tart with more lemon and citrus notes. Wild berry and lemon linger on the finish.

Semi-hazy golden pour with no head, and visible carbonation. Notes of vinegar, tart apricots, sharp oak, sweat, mouldy wood, lactic acid. A bit too much acidity for my taste, obscuring the fruit.

Apollon 090820. Red amber color with a pinkish head. Flavor is plum, sourness, yeast, malt, fruit, funk. Nice beer.

Dark purple pour with no head. Notes of grape vinegar, oak barrel, subtle vanilla, sour cherries, elderberries. Quite alright, though a bit too much on the tart side, like most US sours.
