Bottle shared by Yaniv, thanks! Pours a near clear deep purple with no head whatsoever. Aroma has deep perfumey boysenberry with a bit of vanilla and a touch of cookie underlying. Flavor has lots of juicy and slightly tart boysenberry with a bit of vanilla and a hint of graham cracker.

Bottle shared by Yaniv, thanks! Pours a clear pale straw yellow with no head whatsoever. Aroma is full of sweet vanilla supported by sweet honey notes. Flavor is very sweet but combines honey and vanilla very well.

Pale gold, syrupy looking. Smell is an interesting mix of dry apple, bourbon, and mead, with definitely some alcohol. Not thick, but sticky and pretty hot alcohol. Flavourwise real nice, bit on the sweet side but apples, honey and bourbon are there.

Nice rose looking colour, fairly viscous. Smells lightly sweet, some honey, plenty of vinousness. Mouthfeel is very light, and super dry. Taste is just loads of vinousness, and some tannins. Needs complexity and some sweetness. Very not for me, shame.

Good dark reddish purple. Big blackcurrant smell, bit sweet, lightly tart. Nice mouthfeel, thick, sticky and just enough puckering tartness to notice. Taste is great blackcurrant jam, very intense fruit. Tartly sweet. Damn delicious stuff!

Gorgeous deep red, slightly violet. Smells tart berries, cherry. Good body, easy with a slightly hot finish. Taste is sweet with tart blackberry and redcurrant, cherry pits in the finish. Maybe a tad too strong, but the fruit is nicely balanced. Tasty!

Bottle courtesy of Virby44 after a successful Oshkosh trade. Many eager drinkers: split with Jacob, Peter, Tjark, Eberhard and Peggy. Pours purple into the bottle. Aroma of oak, spice, and honey over an indistinct fruitiness. Taste is sweet but only mildly so. Finishes with more tart than sweet with the blueberries subtly taking over. Smooth. Pleasant sipping.

16/12/21: Deep dark purple, looks fairly viscous. Some booze in the smell, light bourbon and loads of jammy berries. Some light alcohol heat, but otherwise very smooth. Taste is rich berries, sweet with a light tartness, bourbon at the end. Very tasty, a tad strong.
12/12/22: Meadvent calendar 9. Very dark purple, bit viscous, alcohol drops. Smell is boozy, lots of currants, sweet, strong. Sticky body, but quite hot down the throat. Taste is strong currants, sweet, some bourbon, wood. Enjoyable, but a tad too alcoholic.

Deep, dark purple, near black. Lots of berries in the smell at first, which become overwhelmed by earthy coffee. Rich body, thick, sticky and quite soft. Taste is intense berries and almost chocolaty coffee. Leaves an aftertaste of berry, lingers for ages

Sunny yellow, with some sediment. Smell is yellow fruity, super tropical, loads of guava. Lovely thick, smooth and sticky. Taste is crazy fruity and tropical, very sweet but it works with the fruit. Only a light bitter reminds it's mead, not nectar. Wow.
