Taster at the Carter Payne. Pours a clear, red color, with a small, foamy, beige head. The nose is bold red wine tannins, cloves, maple syrup, plum, and bread dough. Sweet and vineous, with a mild, bitter and acidic finish. Heavy and clinging. Beautiful.

Taster at the Carter Payne. Pours clear, bubbly, and yellow, with a small, fizzy, white head. Unmistakably buttery like a Chardonnay, with notes of green apple, cloves, and a surprising aftertaste of almonds. Sweet and lightly acidic. Light, crisp, and a touch astringent. Creative and delicious.

On tap at the Carter Payne. Pours a dark, fairly opaque, ruby-brown color, with a small, off-white head. The nose is brown sugar, cinnamon, strong yeasty character, dates, and toasted pecans. Sweet and malty, with a good, light, bitter bite. Heavy body, syrupy, and crisp. Bold, decadent, and just the right amount of boozy. Lovely, complex, and delicious.
