On tap at the Carter Payne. Pours a dark, hazy, orange color, with a small, fizzy, white head. The nose is nectarine, lavender, orange peel, and butterscotch. Sweet and juicy, with a light, smooth bitterness. Medium body, pulpy, and a bit acidic. Quality.

On tap at the Carter Payne. Pours a bright, hazy-ish, orange color, with a medium, fine, off-white head. The nose is dry saison, light resin and floral notes, green apple, lemon zest, and cane sugar. Sweet and sugary, with a light bitterness. Excellent white wine character. Lovely.

Lucky draw bottle pour from the cooler. Clear, reddish, golden color, with a huge, frothy, beige head. The nose is apple, beautiful rye, funky rum, and heavy grains. Sweet and malty, with a bit of yeasty esters. Smooth, funky, and interesting.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy, orange color, with a small, off-white head. The nose is bright grapefruit peel, straw, cane sugar, and quinine. Dry and zesty, with a sharp, crisp bitterness. A bit funky, citrusy, and fun.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a murky, brown color, with a medium, foamy, tan head. The aroma is rye, sharp oak, cardamom, black pepper, and caramel. Dry and malty, with a light bitterness. Quite boozy. Heavy, crisp, and hot. Pretty tasty.

Taster at the Carter Payne. Pours black, with a small, beige ring. The nose is rye, burnt toast, cardamom, and a bit of soy. Very dry and astringent. Medium to heavy body, sticky, and grainy. Interesting and aggressive.

On tap at the Carter Payne. Pours a dark, reddish, brown color, with a small, beige head. The nose is demerara sugar, heavy cloves, pecans, vanilla, light melon, lemongrass, light black bread, and toffee. Very sweet and syrupy. Light yeasty notes. Pretty heavy and cloying. Not much tripel, but the barrel is lovely.

On tap at the Carter Payne. Pours dark brown, with no foam. The nose is dry leather, black cherry, pumpernickel, cola, and lime zest. Sweet and sugary, with a funky, mellow tartness. Just a little bitter. Medium body, lively, and sharp. Solid and interesting.

500 mL bottle. Pours a hazy, brown color, with a massive, tan head. Quite lively, with foam pouring from the open bottle for about 15 minutes. The aroma is black pepper, caraway, rubber, leather, and caramel. Dry and dusty, with a light bitterness. Light, fluffy, and sharp. Pretty nice.

On tap at the Carter Payne. Pours black, with a small, tan head. The nose is Demerara rum, port wine, vanilla, milk chocolate, light earth, caramel, and wheat bread. Sweet and malty, with a touch of bitterness. Fairly heavy body, with a thick, creamy, and a little biting palate. Fun and well made stout.
