Description
Good in brewing beer. Bad in writing bios. Madness from Budapest challenging almost everything you know about beer. Always flawless, always bold, never boring. Not necessary business-wise all the time, but setting the standards high for ourselves every time as we truly believe in the cliché that goes like ‘the way you do something is the way you do anything’.

Can at home. Pours black with long lasting beige head. Nose is roasted malts, lactose, low cinnamon, some chili. Taste is low roasted notes, perhaps a hint of chocolate, light lactose and then comes the moderately spicy chili that lasts well into the finish. Light body, soft carbonation, easy to drink. Bit of a meh.

Bottle at home, cellared this one for a year. Pours deep copper with quickly disappearing beige head. Nose is sweet boozy, it actually reminds me of bourbon. Toasted malts, biscuits, caramel, a touch of hay and honey. Taste is sweet booze again, bready malts, toasted notes, honey, vanilla. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, closes with a long lasting, warmingly sweet finish. Lovely.

Bottle at home, courtesy of Marci, koszi szepen! Pours opaque golden with quickly disappearing white head. Nose is slighlty spicy grapes, sweet fruity notes, perhaps a touch of honey, very nice rounded. Nose is lighlty vineous, somewhat sweetc super fruity. Both kinda juicy and kinda dry at the same time. Closes with hoppy fruity notes, light citruses mainly. Light bodied and easy to drink, with a soft carbonation, drinks way below the ABV. Tasty and nuanced with a superb balance real fun.

Bottle at home from the brewery. Pours opaque, deep golden with white head. Nose is lactic sourness, definitive fruit characcter. Taste is citrus zest, that fruity touch again that I guess is gooseberry and a moderately sour lactic touch. Tart, citrusy and somewhat malty finish, light body, average carbo.

Can from MS. Pours murky, juicy golden with white head. Nose is intense tropical fruits, light coconut, cantaloupe, kinda spicy, which might as well be cedar. Taste is somewhat sweet, somewhat spicy with that interesting character again that reminds me of coconut and cedar perhaps. Long lasting finish, light but full, super creamy body, soft carbo. Tasty with an interesting twist.

Can from MS. Pours murky and juicy, orangeish deep golden with white head. Nose is intense fruity, lighlty grassy. Taste is big tropical fruits, I get mango and cantaloupe mainly. Long lasting fruity finish, light body with soft carbo, drinks way below the ABV. I miss the creamy body of the Sabro version here, and while this might be a little bit more fruity, the other one had that intriguing twist that made it more interesting for me.

Can from the brewery. Pours semi opaque golden with white head. Nose is held back citric, grassy, lightly malty. Taste is moderately bitter, showing citruses and grassy notes and somewhat malty with a fruity touch. Light bodied with average carbo. The balance is nice here, but too light and held back alltogether, even for a session IPA.

Can shared at work. Pours murky pink colour with white head. Nose is raspberry, vanilla, something that remidns me of apricot and a touch of citrus zest. Taste is moderately sweet and lightly sourish with notes of berries, lacto sourness, a hint of vanilla and a touch of citrusy bitterness. Long lasting, rather pleasant (compared to the taste at least) finish, showing berries and tartness. Light to medium body, soft carbo. No traces of banana, and not particularly balanced either.
