Description
Good in brewing beer. Bad in writing bios. Madness from Budapest challenging almost everything you know about beer. Always flawless, always bold, never boring. Not necessary business-wise all the time, but setting the standards high for ourselves every time as we truly believe in the cliché that goes like ‘the way you do something is the way you do anything’.

Tap at KEG. Jet black, no head. Nose is heavy sweetness, lactose, vanilla, even some bourbon notes. Taste is almost sticky sweetness, vanilla, booze, some malts, faint coffee. Heavy body, soft carbo. A bit over the top.

Tap at KEG. Nose is sweet malty mainly, with a definite hoppy presence. In taste it’s sweet first, and then the hops kick in. Long bitterish finish, light body, average carbo.

Tap. Deep brown pour, beige head. Nose is an amazing mix of peated notes, lactose, vanilla and sweet booze. Tastes pretty much the same, perhaps somewhat less complex and a bit more boozy. Closes with medium sweet, boozy finish, has light body (a bit too light to my liking) and soft carbo. Despite its minor flaws it’s an amazing beer.

Bottle, köszi Marci! Pours deep, clear copper with thin, quickly disappearing head. Nose is pretty sweet altogether with notes of fruity hops, biscuity malts and a definite boozy touch. Taste is sweet again, as soon as you take a sip the alcohol appears in yo face but then it becomes somewhat milder, but remains till the finish. There's some fruity underdtones, but the warm boozy character is what's mainly highlighted in the taste: it's very apparent, but not so much so that it becomes overwhelming. Closes with long lasting, warming and sweet boozy finish, has medium, quite dry body and soft to average carbonation. Drinks waaay below the ABV. Interesting conception and the execution is nicely done too, but not really my cup of tea.

Bottle. Pours jet black, beige head. Nose is licorice, lactose, vanilla, slight caramel, sweet booze, bourbon notes. Taste is sweet, cake-y, there's vanilla, lactose, caramel, bourbon again and warming booze too. Thick body, soft carbonation, I'd even say it's a signature omnipollo mouthfeel. Awesome dessert beer altogether.

Tap at BPBW. Opaque pink pour, white head. Sweet strawberry, yeasty touch, faint malts, even some citrusy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbo. Bit of a meh.

From tap at BPBW '19, Friday session. The mezcal is very much apparent both in aroma and taste (mainly in the first), leaving almost no space for anything else. There's some chocolate, slight coffee, a faint fruity touch, but this seems to be it really.

Bottle, thanks a lot Marci! Pours deep, purpleish brown with no head. Nose is szilvás gombóc. Taste is kibaszott szilvásgombóc. Cinnamon, plum, slight vanilla, with a touch of booze. Closes with super long, tart plum finish, has medium to heavy body and soft carbonation. This beer is extremely close to be perfect: the aroma is simply flawless, in taste the alcohol is just a little bit too much, but that’s it really. Amazing job on this one.
