Hazy and pale, medium Pale and slight haze. Medium head. Big cedar aroma, as advertised. Toasty aroma with lots of brett, good body, a touch of brett C but then the tannic assertive cedar takes over through the finish. Top quality.

Batch 16, from Jan 2017. Found on the shelf at Shamrock Liquors Orlando. Crazy. It may have been just a touch past its prime but still a good wild ale here. Fairly dry, berry flavors, some stone fruit pit, mild tartness. Drying tannic finish with some light bitterness was the part that stood out the most as showing the age on this beer. Maybe a hint of sherry but if so very light and indistinct.

16 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a large white head and great retention. Very good lacing too. Streaming bubbles. Lightly souring malt aroma. Very bready pale malt flavor. Thankfully no souring notes. Definitely a Bohemian profile. Very mellow overall. Medium body and lower than average carbonation. Not bitter. A good anytime beer.

Canned January 2025, drunk 4/20/25.
Dark, clear. Big tan head.
Dark roast coffee, dates, brown sugar and milk chocolate. Not boozey or over roasted.
Rich and chocolatey. I'm not a huge coffee stout guy but this is a hell of a base beer. Rich and malty without too much roasted bitterness. Lingering fruity and bitter coffee. Vanilla, milk chocolate and no alcohol. Drinkable!
