Description
DEYA Brewing Company is an independent brewery in Cheltenham, UK. We focus on hoppy beers, lagers, traditional UK styles and mixed fermentation ales. We strive to make world class beer.
Theo founded DEYA in 2015 having become obsessed with American beer and beer culture. In January 2016, Theo picked up the keys to a 4,000ft2 industrial unit in Cheltenham. Once the 10bbl brewery kit was installed, the burgeoning DEYA team dedicated themselves to producing the most delicious pale ales, IPAs and hoppy beers that they could. In 2017, following more national and international acclaim, brewing capacity is doubled with the addition of three 40HL fermentation vessels. In March 2018, a 1000 cans per hour canning line was purchased to complement the four new 40HL fermentation vessels that were to be added in October. This move takes capacity to 3,500HL. In 2019 year we are expanding into a new 25,000 sq/ft premises and installing a bespoke 40hl 4 vessel brewhouse allowing us to significantly increase capacity.
We take a holistic approach to business, striving to be the best employer we possibly can be, while operating in a fair, sustainable and human driven way.

500ml can from the brewery. Hazy golden with a big fluffy white head, good retention. Aroma of peach and tropical fruits, lime. Taste is peachy, tropical, lime, mandarin, low bitterness. Medium bodied, very soft mouthfeel.
Pretty similar to SG21 but stronger and punchier, better hop combo.

500ml can from the brewery. Lightly hazed golden with Deya's usual big fluffy head, good retention. Aroma of peach and tropical fruits, pineapple. Taste is peachy, pineapple, various tropical fruits, melon, somewhat mellow citrus, low bitterness. Medium bodied, very soft mouthfeel.
Good pale, just not convinced it does anything better or worse than their usual.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A moderate haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head, doesn't last. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Slightly thin malts, a thin creamy sweetness, adequate. Hops bring spice and a little bitterness overlaying juicy bright stone fruits and citrus. Traces of lime and pineapple. Light and semi dry finish leaves a long hop spicy linger. Could have a better mouthfeel for me but, a classy dipa all the same.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Savoury skunk dominantes the mild pine. Hop spice nibbles from the get go. Good hop fruits, layered limey citrus, a touch of tropical fruits. Airy finish, semi dry. Long hop spicy linger. Good stuff.

500ml can from Kura’s Krafts, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, smooth, somewhat light, juicy, lemon lime, light vinous, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Flavourful and refreshing.
