DEYA Brewing Company is an independent brewery in Cheltenham, UK. We focus on hoppy beers, lagers, traditional UK styles and mixed fermentation ales. We strive to make world class beer.
Theo founded DEYA in 2015 having become obsessed with American beer and beer culture. In January 2016, Theo picked up the keys to a 4,000ft2 industrial unit in Cheltenham. Once the 10bbl brewery kit was installed, the burgeoning DEYA team dedicated themselves to producing the most delicious pale ales, IPAs and hoppy beers that they could. In 2017, following more national and international acclaim, brewing capacity is doubled with the addition of three 40HL fermentation vessels. In March 2018, a 1000 cans per hour canning line was purchased to complement the four new 40HL fermentation vessels that were to be added in October. This move takes capacity to 3,500HL. In 2019 year we are expanding into a new 25,000 sq/ft premises and installing a bespoke 40hl 4 vessel brewhouse allowing us to significantly increase capacity.
We take a holistic approach to business, striving to be the best employer we possibly can be, while operating in a fair, sustainable and human driven way.
500ml can from the brewery. Murky golden with a dense frothy white head. Aroma of white wine and gooseberry, slightly dank, tropical. Taste is vinous, white wine, grape and gooseberry, light dank hit, grapefruit, some hop spice and a little pithy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, very soft. Great spin on SRM.
My can says Lorien, citra, andacia hops. Hazy yellow with a white cap. Notes of lemon, citrus, light malt, a bit of tropics. Medium thin body. Crispy finish with lemon juice. Bright and refreshing.
Can. Beer Stop Dronfield. Dusted off a Deya Teku for this hoping for a clean and bitter banger. It’s a milky, oaty green hop bag of shite that instantly made me remember why I’d stopped buying Deya beers years ago. Absolutely indistinguishable from all their other output.
9th August 2025 Panda thanks to Cloin. Hazy gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a mild dryness, decent fine carbonation. Soft pale malts, smooth, a fair degree of creamy sweetness but, slightly ripe with it. Soft pine. Hop spice starts to nibble. Mildly ripe lime underpins riper citrus on top. Light and semi dry finish. Pretty good, best Motueka for a few months, could do with a little more hop brightness.
On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Nose is grapefruit, zesty lemon, pithy orange, touch of pineapple. Taste is grapefruit, lime, touch of tropical fruit. Rich bittersweet aftertaste.

On tap at The Craft Beer Cabin, Bromley. Aromas of tropical fruit, pineapple, peach, passionfruit. Taste is pineapple, peach, coconut, mango, papaya. Sweet fruity mouthfeel. Soft hoppy finish.
Tight white head on a milky golden coloured body. Punchy aroma of melon & mango. Medium bodied, overly carbonated with a foamy back. Mango, nectarine, pulped exotic fruit & zesty citrus tastes. Juicy.
Very pale gold with a thin head. Light toasted malt, a bit zesty, light citrus, light yeast. Thin body. Crispy finish. Not bad. Refreshing. Needs more oomph.
