Servida y gozada en cáliz. Color marrón, atractiva y cremosa corona de espuma beige claro. Aroma a levadura, malta tostada, ciruelas, pasas, dátiles, plátano, especias, nueces, fruta madura, notas de vainilla, licor...En boca es intensa, compleja, cuerpo completo, de textura sedosa, casi oleosa, notas de pan negro, frutos secos, fruta madura (peras, higos..), vainilla, plátano maduro, especias...Cerveza profunda de trago corto que te acerca un poquito a los cielos, una oda al buen hacer de los hermanos trapenses. De culto e imprescindible.

Big Top Beverage Mart: pours slightly hazy deep gold with big frothy head. Aroma is really yeasty, lightly spicy, not too fruity. Taste is fairly dry for a tripel. Much more emphasis on yeast. Still it dies taste like a tripel and has familiar spicy notes. Maybe I am too used to Mediocre American Tripels (MAT).

Servida en cáliz. Color naranja claro, turbia y opaca, espuma blanca y fina. En nariz emana notas de malta, cereal, levadura, futa de hueso, especias, bizcocho de naranja, ligero plátano...En boca es sedosa, equilibrada, con carácter, compleja, notas dulces maltosas en armonía con toques amargos y cítricos, finamente especiada. Otra muestra de arte trapense. Amén

330 ml bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a creamy head. Zesty resinous hops, candied mango, curaçao, woodruff, aniseed, coriander seed, dried apricots, dried pear, grapefruit zest, yeast, banana, candy sugar, spices. Hoppy bitterness, fruity sweetness, some saltyness. Full bodied, creamy texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy bitter fruity spicy boozy finish. Excellent.

Gonna miss my backyard! T minus 1 mth, moving to an apartment. Not my fave Rochefort. Tastes like a patersbier despite the 7.5%. Fruity. Not my fave patersbier either.
