Simply outstanding. One of the best always-available beers in the world. Also one of the most private Trappist breweries, sadly (for us beer tourists).

330ml bottle. Pours a cloudy orange gold with yeast particles in suspension and a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of bready pale malt, candi sugar, Belgian yeast, peach and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, candi sugar, orange peel, apricot, honey, Belgian yeast, black pepper and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Delicious.

Golden, slightly hazy pour with a decent and lasting white head. Aromas of malt, yeast and orange. Taste is malt, orange (peel), pineapple, candy, some herbs. Really good stuff.

Bottle pour at the The Belgian Brewers' Bash in Washington DC. Poured a hazed orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was candy, light funky esters. Easy to drink, no frills triple.

33cl clear gold, silky white head. Nose is big candy and pineapple, estery, coriander. Flavors follow. A wheat character now with the candy and tropicals. Full bodied finish.

Trübe dunkelbraune Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, röstmalziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, röstmalzig mit Trockenfrüchten und Karamell. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
