Bottle at The Bag o Nails Bristol. Hazy amber colour with some floaters. Lasting white head. Some tripel sweet orange aroma. is it as good as Westmalle Tripel? no not quite. its still decent. Belgian esters touch of perfume. as I say ok but not a top level Belgian tripel.Hoppy bitter finish. interesting to have but a little pukey.

0,33 bottle.A traditional brand-loyal bottle filled with an unfiltered, slightly cloudy, light golden beer under a huge solid white head. There were bits of extract floating in the beer, which is not a bad sign. A very good aroma of dessert grapes, sparkling, minimally alcoholic, yeasty. (It became even more intense towards the end.) It was a good-bodied, flavorful, fresh, moderately carbonated triple. And the taste was sensational. They used very good yeast, the hops made it spicy and unique, and the malt body was also very good. Let's just say it didn't surprise me... This is a perfect Belgian triple. Spicy, flavorful, commanding authority!

Hagyományos márkahű üvegből egy hatalmas tömör fehér habkorona alatti szűretlen, kissé zavaros, világos arany színű sör került kitöltésre. A sörben extrakt -darabkák úszkáltak, ami nem rossz előjel. Csemegeszőlős, pezsgős, minimálisan alkoholos, élesztős, nagyon jó illat. ( A végére még intenzívebb lett.) Jó testes, zamatos, friss, közepesen szénsavas triple volt. Az íze pedig szenzációs. Nagyon jó élesztőt használhattak, a komlók jó fűszeressé, egyedivé tették, ezáltal a maláta-test is nagyon rendben. Mondjuk nem lepett meg... Ez egy tökéletes belga triple. Fűszeres, zamatos, tekintélyt-parancsoló!

Bottle at t Brugs Beertje, Brugge, Belgium. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Vague fruity, yeasty, citrus, spice aroma. Tastes quite bitter and dusty, almost oxidised, underwhelming for a Rochefort which is a real shame.

Predominant citrus and honey aroma. Opaque hayish amber color, abundant white foam. Medium sweet an bitterness, dry finish. Medium body, soft and creamy mouthfeel.

Opaque brown color with lasting, thick, tan head. Malty and earthy aroma. Taste is sweet, malty and woody with a slow alcohol burn. Smooth and strong but with balanced flavor.

Pour is a hazy gold with a large pillow white head and tone of yeast floaties. Aroma is grains of paradise, lemons and some yeast ester. Flavor is more grain and some spicy and bitter hops. Finish is some butterscotch and alcohol with a creamy thick mouthfeel. Kind of a different take on a tripel but it is flavorful nonetheless.
