A medium-deep golden with a firm white head. Candied fruits, muted citrus, Belgian yeast, sweet malt, a touch of spice. Full bodied. Finish has a light spice and sweet fruit profile. This one is a little more muted than I’d prefer but it’s a solid tripel.

Bought locally, best by September 13th 2025.
It pours a slightly hazy gold with a multiple finger head of foam, I see floaties, retention is great, as is the lacing.
The smell has coriander, yeast, fruity notes, some citrus, some bitterness.
The taste is yeasty, coriander, mild citrus hops, fruity, hint of candi sugar.
Medium bodied, plenty of carbonation, this is one that I only buy occasionally when I see it on the shelf.

Bottle, 2021 vintage (I believe). Caramel malt aroma with notes of orange, spicy Belgian yeast, clove, banana, bread and toffee. Pours cloudy golden colored with a large white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with caramel, orange, clove and bready malt flavors as well as having a rich full body and smooth mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with spicy Belgian yeast, banana and toffee flavors. Excellent!

2006 bottle, poured in a Duvel glass. Hope that's all right. Dark, solid brown pour, thin layer of foam. Nose has some specialty malt spice, a bit of Chardonnay, perhaps. Very nice after nearly 20 years. Taste is wonderfully surprising. Again, specialty malt with caramel roast, light spice of coriander, maybe a bit of allspice. And there's some nice, basic "beer" taste underlying the whole thing.

Cellary yeasty citrus fruit peel aroma
Flavor is slightly soapy, yellow fruity, fruit peel, alc can be se seddel in a somewhat unsophisticated way, like the other flavors doesnt really match up. Very soft palate but the flavor is well Bülow what i had expected from rochefort
