Clear orange beer, frothy yellowish head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruits, bit sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity start, grapefruit, citrus, lemony, pretty bitter, bit piny. Aftertaste: more citrus, passion fruit, pineapple, bit sweet, crispy and fruity hops on a honey malt base. Lovely beer.

Bottle - thanks much to jlanning215! Pours clear chestnut with a small tan head that slowly dissipates leaving decent lacing. Aroma is toffee, rum, molasses. Flavor is quite strong rum overlying rich malty toffee and molasses. Woody notes prominent, along with some astringence. Medium sweet, light bitter. Strong warming finish - this is really an ABV forward beer. Nice, but would actually prefer to have the barrel pulled back just a bit.

On tap @ Mikkeller Bar. It's light blurry in the glass, deep honey red in the glass and it has a big lacing off-white head. The nose is sweet caramel and fruit sweet with both orange zest, c-vitamin and a mild grassyness. Smells nice. Scary easy to drink, the most scary double ipa I can remember when it some to light drinkability. It's seriously like drinking a some sort of melon juice. Really gliding mouthfeel with a comfortable carbonation level. Fruity, lots of melon, not even a hint of the alcohol and it's leaving a hoppy and grassy taste on the tongue. On tap @ Mikkeller Bar. This is a light cloudy soft honey golden one with a small sidesticking white top. Some wheat on the nose, a little bit of pepper corns and coriander. Mild, gentle and nice. Above average on the carbonation and light oily on the mouthfeel. Lots of white pepper in the taste. Wheat, more fresh coriander and some sweetness. Tasty, easy drinking. One hand rating outside Mikkeller Bar. 03.05.2013

On tap @ Mikkeller Bar. Cloudy deep orange almost bronze in the glass with a small eventually fading just off-white top. Not extreme on the nose but some fruitiness shines through the emptiness. A bit of farm with some leafs and strawberry gel,. Lively carbo, oily mouthfeel. It's dry, almost grape-dry actually. Some white vine, melon zest, cantaloupe, yeast, really astringent finish. Not allmightyquenchable, but more in the alright genre. One hand rating outside Mikkeller Bar. 03.05.2013

Bomber. And man was I excited to find another Galaxy hopped beer! Love ’em. Pours a nice orange with a slight haziness and a decent head. Aromas are oranges. Not quite the passionfruit punch I was hoping for. First sip is awesome, but it seems to get weaker as I go. As it warms it becomes a little less clean and the orange- flavor hops come through and decrease the passionfruit I soooo love. It’s a good beer, but I would have liked to see it be all galaxy all the time.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar. Pours tiny hazy pale golden with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace and lacing on the glass. Smell is tiny sweet, phenolic and slightly spicy with crackers, cloves, banana bread, lemon zest, freshly cut grass, thai basil, lemon grass, white pepper corns and cilantro. Taste is tiny sweet, tiny bitter, tiny tart, slightly phenolic and slightly spicy with crackers, white bread, banana bread, lemon zest, plums, lemon grass, cloves, dry soil, freshly cut grass, cilantro, white pepper corns, moist wood and hints of lemon juice and sour cherries. Mouthfeel is crisp, slightly dry, round and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter and tart with crackers, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, cloves, banana bread and hints of white pepper corns, cilantro and lemon grass. Nicely done...

Bomber thanks to Dallas. Pours a deep black color with a small beige head. Huge nose of cocoa, milky chocolates and vanilla. The flavor is great: sweet milky chocolate, roast, dry barrel, vanilla, finishes clean and very tasty.

Draft at Churchkey with Megan sitting next to me, but she’s talking to someone else, so I’m sneaking this one in. Clear bright golden color, fluffy white head. Aroma of nice fruit and perfume with just a touch of scallions. Taste is bitter grass, fruit. Very nice.
