500ml bottle. Clear chestnut colour with ruby glimmer and average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige head. A bit weak, sweet-ish, dark malty and doughy yeasty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, hints of caramel, a touch of pumpernickel and treacle. Taste is sweet-ish dark malty, doughy yeasty, bready, notes of malt lozenge, hints of pumpernickel, treacle, caramel, a minimally nuttily touch; oily texture, super soft, smooth and minimally sticky palate.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, off-white head. Sweet-ish, wheaty, fruity aroma, notes of banana, unspecific estery fruitiness, a minimally bready touch. Taste is sweet, wheaty, fruity and minimally spicy yeasty, notes of pear, banana, some clove; soft to flat carbonation, minimally tacky.

On tap @FrankenFest 2016 (Rome), Villa Torlonia. Dorata pallida, limpida, schiuma abbondante e persistente. Al naso sentori di crosta di pane, pasta lievita, note erbacee e floreali. In bocca è molto morbida ed equilibrata, malto in attacco con chiusura luppolata erbacea. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Un po’ sciapa, ma buona.

Sehr herber, etwas grasig-muffiger Antrunk. Milde Hopfenbitterkeit, hell würzig, wenig malzig. Der Hopfen steigt leicht an, die Herbe bleibt vordergründig. Nicht schlecht. 9/9/9/8/8/9

Dunkler, brotig malziger Antrunk. Weich mit geringer Herbe, keine Süße. Trocken nach Schokolade im Mittelteil, weiterhin brotig. Mittelstarke Intensität, durch die nicht vorhandene Süße wird einiges an Aroma genommen. 9/10/10/9/9/10

33cl bottle. Pours dark reddish brown colour with a huge good lasting tan head. Aroma of dry dark roasted malt, chocolate. Taste of dry roasted malt, not too sweet, coffee and vanilla.

33cl bottle. Pours clear golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of aromatic grassy medium bitter hops. Taste of mild grassy hops, fresh, dry, pale malt, easy drinkable, good!
