50cl swing-top bottle from the brewery. Pours slightly hazy mahagoni brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, hazelnuts and caramel. Taste of mild roasted malt, caramel, hazelnuts, full body, delicious!

Vom Faß in der Nürnberger Alm (11.4.2015). - Etwas dunkleres Orangerot, nicht eigentlich „dunkel“; leicht trüb, reichlich lockerer Schaum. - Duftet warm karamelmalzig. - Antrunk schön karamellig-nussig und zurückhaltend malzsüß mit feiner fruchtig-pikanter Säure und ganz zarter orangenfruchtiger Herbe. Durchschnittlich rezent; angenehm leicht und schlank, beinahe dünn. Auch der Abgang wird bestimmt von feinem Malz und ganz zarter, hintergründiger Hopfenherbe ohne eigentliche Bittere, deren Fehlen aber nicht als Manko empfunden wird, so fein sind die Aromen. - Gediegene zarte Malzigkeit und feine fruchtige Herbe vereinen sich zu einem eleganten aber unkomplizierten Dunkel, das bei Erwärmung noch gewinnt.

Vom Faß auf dem Fränkischen Bierfest, Nürnberg, 21.6.2014 (als „Pils naturtrüb“). - Goldgelb, leicht trüb. - In der Nase duftig süßliche tropische Frucht: Melone, Mango, auch Gras. - Schlanker Antrunk mit aromatisch zitrusfruchtigem, nicht zu herbem Hopfen (Mandarine). Zarte Malzsüße, ein wenig Honig, eingebettet in Hefe. Mild rezent, leicht kreidiges Mundgefühl. Schön grasig-zitroniger Nachtrunk von mittlerer Bittere und zarter Schärfe. - Vorzügliches Bier, hoch aromatisch aber nicht ganz pilstypisch gehopft - Kellerbier trifft es eher. Mein Favorit vom diesjährigen Bierfest.

Bottle. Dry fruity yeast and hop note, grass, minerals. Cloudy yellow, white head. Medium light citric body, good leafy grassy citric hops, light clay. Earthy grass aftertaste.

On tap the Nurnberger Alm, 1/5/2014. Slightly hazy, reddish-brown with a big, beige head. Sweet, malty brew, with a hint of berry fruits and toasted malts, leading to a soft finish. Enjoyable.

Draught at S:ta Clara Bierhaus, Stockholm. Hazy brownish amber, mid sized head. Light hazelnut aroma. Mid dry with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Hazelnuts and caramel, sligjht notes of grass. Low-medium bitterness.
