Bügelverschlußflasche: Chestnut-amber coloured, hazy, floaties visible, persistent, almost creamy off-white head with a good lace; rich nose: sweet caramel, roasted malt and good dash of noble hops in the background; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, soft and medium bodied; sweet fruitiness and toasted malt lead to a noble-hoppy, lingering, finish. Superb franconian quality.............

Hazy accajou colour; huge, fine, creamy-beige head. Caramel nose, with a whiff of a sweetish liqueur. Caramel syrup covered nuts, milk chocolate, leafy. Soft-sweet beer, bit bready & nutty, leafy. Mild rainwater feel & flavour, moss. Nice, just-not sourish/lactic finish. Medium bodied, grist slickness. That’s quite a nice Dunkel, from the youngest brewery in Franconia...
