Bottle from a couple months ago, slightly expired. Lightly brown hazy, moderate head. Nose is pretty mild, grain and a hint of malty banana. Flavor is a bit sweet, mild carb for Weißbier, lots of caramel. Better than some other beers from this brewery, for sure.

Bottle drunk on the Tag des Bieres. Murky amber pour with high carb and lasting head. Nose is traditionally hopped-spicy, light vegetable notes and grain. Flavor, yes probably significant DMS, corn and stewed veg, maybe something else off as well. Decent malty notes behind all that. Hmm, might not finish this though.

Bottle drunk on the roof terrace in Naples. Orange amber, mandarine nose. Not bad, a bit yeasty and grainy for what I assume is Pale Ale style, it's way better than the Märzen was. Predominantly citrus hop flavor, high carb.

Drunk in Naples on the rooftop, 6th floor, between a castle and Vesuvius. Slight foam over, too high carb, brown amber with obviously huge head. Nose is super grainy, hint of hops, a bit unclean. Tastes sweet, wort-reminiscent, mineral (untreated Munich tap water?). Maybe too warm fermentation or mild infection. Anyway, ironic that I'm drinking it in Italy as it reminds me of a lot of Italian craft beers I've had!

0.3l tap. Almost clear amber golden with a small creamy head. Honey, sourdough, citrus, hay. Malty sweetness, light dry sourness and bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to low carbonated, dry honey malty finish. It’s a decent Fest-Märzen, somewhat christmassy but a bit bland.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, chestnut colour with remarkable ruby shimmer and small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Mellow, minimally nutty, dark malty and yeasty fruity aroma, hints of malt lozenge, red berries, a touch of praline. Taste is slightly toasty and nutty, dark malty, hints of malt lozenge, praline, bitter hoppy counterpart with a minimally metallic touch. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Very nice colour, not the darkest Dunkel, almost more nutty than roasty, Mild Ale allusions - obviously Brauhaus Germering understands dark beers way better than other styles.
