Red with big brown head. Aroma is dried figs, physalis, caramel, toffee and dried berries. Taste is full bodied caramel sweetness and grape sourness and spicy caramel stuff. Incredibly smooth and easy to drink, yet heavy. Nice.

Euro2-Flasche (kindly delivered by Otto’s neighbour!):Golden, hazy, quickly collapsing head; sweetish fruity-wheaty nose, clovey spots underneath; mild to moderate more sweet than sourish flavour, a bit fizzy, but all in all still soft;a bit drier and more sourish in the fruity-wheaty finish. Drinkable, but surely not my favourite…

Bottle(@Obersalzmountain):Amber to deep amber coloured, hazy, smaller off-white head; sourish-caramelly nose with a delicate wheaty touch; sourish-sweetish flavour, light bodied but not soft; relatively thin sourish-wheaty and caramelly finish with a mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Not really good… --- Beer aliased from original tick of Grandauer Dunkle Weisse on 18 Feb 2016 at 14:39 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: Bottle(@Metro Feldherrnhalle): Hazy, amber coloured, medium-sized and quite quickly collapsing loose off-white head; sweetish fruity-toasty and yeasty nose, wheat well hidden, phenolic spices hiddes as well; mild to moderate sweet-sourish flavour, almost medium bodied and quite creamy, both mild bitterness and mild tartness detectable in the otherwise fruity and malty finish. Nothing special, but a very well quaffable brew…

Bottle (courtesy of Metro-Man!): Mainly clear, deep ruby-amber coloured, quickly collapsing loose off-White head, dark malt and milk-chocolate in the nose, but barelyany bitterness detectable; light to moderate sweetish flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 5.3%, at least quite soft; mainly cacao-powder and traces of cheap chocolate in the slightly more bitter finish. Too monotonous...

Gourmet-Flasche(Dank an Otto!):Hazy golden, small and stable off-white head; grainy and tart-hoppy nose; dry bitter flavour, light bodied and tart; gets milder and more fruity towards the still bitter and grainy finish. What a pity! Not great…

Bottle (thanks to Metro Landsberg!): Greenish-golden, a bit unclear, small lacy White foamy layer; papery-dusty nose with a slight citric touch; sweetish flavour, faint bitterness, light bodied, but soft; mild citric grainy finish. Besides the aroma quite OK...
