Bottle at work dinner trying to sway goodwill with German boss. Dirty blonde pour and fine head nose and tastes of cloves, banana, wheat, cardboard. Medium bodied. Pleasant.

0.33 l bottle as 'Würzburger Hofbräu Pilsner', best before August 2023. Clear, golden with a white head. Sweetish, minimally grassy aroma of grains, some straw and traces of green apple. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, a bit grassy taste of grains and some straw, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Pils.
