Bottle. Struise shop, Bruges. Opened with a huge pop. Not a gusher though. Pale, copper gold. Soft haze. Loads of fast rising, lively, fine bubbles. Big head of lasting, semi lacing, bright white head. Looks boss. Nose has it all, really. New leather. Oak. Fusty lemon brett. Apple pomace. Touch of vanilla and lemon rind. Taste is tart, clean, and very mineraly. Some hop bitterness. Medium body. Massaging carbonation. Very smooth, with low acidity. Tart, bretty bitterness to finish. Really good. Condition is fantastic, compared with the other I had from this producer. Maybe time did it’s thing.

Poured from a 375 ml bottle dated March 5, 2018. Aroma has a fairly strong musty, earthy, herbal note upfront with some balanced amounts of stone fruit skins, lemon and green grapes. Light oak notes as well. Pours a hazy, dull gold color with a medium sized, thick, white head that recedes quickly to a small film. No lacing or legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a light acidity and a touch of grain. Medium oak notes with green grapes more prevalent than in the aroma. Light lemon, pineapple and stone fruit as well. Light herbal and earthy notes in the finish with the earthy note and green grapes lingering. A bit watery upfront in the palate. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent lambic but the body is lacking a bit and the flavors are not as well rounded.

Bottle at tasting. Aroma of horseblanket, citrus, funk, orange, wheat and some acidic sourness. Taste has citrus, mild green apple, horseblanket, wheat, funk, tart, bitter orange and soft acidic sourness. Bit much carbonation. Good gueuze.

Fat på Akkan. Ganska mild lambic med inslag av dill, gurka och citrus. Inte den mest komplexa lambicen men välgjord och trevlig.

Keg at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy golden, no head. Citric nose with horse blanket and hay. Citric with medium body and soft mouthfeel, low carbonation. Complex and pleasant. Citric with hay and horse blanket. Low bitterness.

Keg, taster. Sampled on the 07/05/2019 at «Koelschip», Copenhagen (Denmark). Bright orange colour with a thin head. Aroma is wood, funky and wild yeast. Taste is brett, wood, funk and leather leading to a medium dry finish. Thanks Marc for sharing. Next one please.
