Bladder bag at the 31st Tamworth Beer Festival, Assembly Rooms Tamworth, day 2 - 05/09/2025.
Almost clear golden blonde with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is toffee apple, sugars, a bit raw and muddled.
Taste comprises sweet vibes, cola cubes, caramel, sugar lumps.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close.
So so affair, rather disjointed, bourbon?

Cask at the Queens Head, Stourbridge. Pours hazy orange gold with no carbonation. Aroma is cherry Coke and sweet apple. Taste has sweet apple juice throughout with a little cherry bakewell underneath.

Half a pint from a box, Black Bear (Whitchurch) on 23rd May 2025. It's a fairly sweet cider with a cherry like flavour on the apple base.

Bag in a box at the Three Horseshoes, West Bromwich. Light gold, clear with a white head.the aroma is grassy, light blueberry essence. Taste is mostly blueberry rising among assorted fruits. Sweet with a sour appley tang, bramble, maybe pineapple and of course blueberry. Light to medium body. Not a cider to get to excited (excidered?) about, and of course it’s artificial, but not unpleasant.

My only travel regret to Madrid was not visiting the Prado, although I was part of a stag party so probably wasn't an appropriate activity. Passions often run high, but less so here with the apple still more dominant, just. Passionfruit does provide a light sweetness.

(Cask at Craft Beer Covent Garden, London, 24 Nov 2024. 4.0%) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of apples, lemon, lime, grass, washing-up liquid and pineapple. Fruity, sweetish taste with lemon, vanilla, white bread, and pineapple. Low acidity. Medium body, quite sweet. On the sweet side, but quite refreshing. Nice one.

Аромат буквально сахарный. Даже не скахать что это персик или яблоко. Скорее какаой то яблочный ликер разбавленный втрое водой и ложкой сахара. Пьется в целом нормально. Иногда конечно проходят нотки замороженных яблок, но очень мало. На раз можно, но дисбаланс есть.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma is blueberry, sweet apple, cakey and vanilla. Gets a bit artificial after a while. Finish is smooth with decent body, however is very sweet.
