Draught at Quakerhouse, Darlington. Golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of pineapple, tropical fruits. Taste is sweet, fruity, pineapple, some green apple core, with alittle citric tartness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, sweet pineappley finish. Quite OK

Clear and golden, maybe just a hint of haze. Pineapple chunk aroma, smooth pineapple juice flavour with a touch of cider acidity.

Hand pulled half pint at the Railway Tavern, Newport Shropshire on 13th January 2026. More like a Mince Pie sort of flavour than a Christmas Pudding to me.

Rochdale Winter Ale Trail 2025 Beer#7 at what is officially Venue 10, although it's a cider this time. Golden with a haze about it. Tarty sweet honeycomb notes, probably an acquired taste, I quite like. It's aroma is stated, but a tad more sugary-fruity. Texture is easy enough.

Bag in a box at the Old Horse, Leicester. Mid- to dark gold and clear with no head. Apples with pie crust in the aroma. As expected its decent if a bit artificial. Sweet taste, more sweet crust with light lemon, and still able to impart that apple tang. Brown sugar nearer to the finish. Medium body, a bit oily, no carbonation. Sue me. I like this.

Tamworth Beer Fest. Opaque gols. No head. Aroma combines apple.and Bourbon somehow. Flavourwise it's very sweet with a hint of Bourbon. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice.

Bladder bag at the 31st Tamworth Beer Festival, Assembly Rooms Tamworth, day 2 - 05/09/2025.
Almost clear golden blonde with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is toffee apple, sugars, a bit raw and muddled.
Taste comprises sweet vibes, cola cubes, caramel, sugar lumps.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close.
So so affair, rather disjointed, bourbon?
