Ma Che draught, 5/12/24. Clear, blonde-brass. Big head, mod-low retention. Nose is clean, biscuit and dough. Fresh grass and light floral hops but not that much of them. Maybe a bit too much bread dough. Clean, lightly malty. Not thin, but kind of doughy. Low bitterness. Lots of flowers and grass.

(Bottle, In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 16 Feb 2024) Reddish brown colour with lasting, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark bread, prunes, raisins and brown sugar. Malty, slightly roasted taste with notes of dark bread, toast, prunes, dark fruit and a mild grassy/herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Harmonious and well balanced dunkel. Nice one.

Gravity pour at ZUmen. Slightly hazy golden with white head. Minerals, bread. Slightly on the sweeter side.

Optisch klares Gold, behäbige Perlung, Schaum passt. In der Nase sehr würzig, auch im Trunk kernig, spät bitter. Bassd sachd der Frange.

T: sweetish malt, dough, chicken broth.
F: crisp grain.
P: light body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Unconvincing.
