0,5l from bottle at Apartment in Andechs bought from Walther Mai, Munich. BB 12/2026. Dark brown color, very small tan head. smells toffee, spices, toasty, caramel, tobacco. Nice smell. Medium body, light carbonation. Tastes caramel, toffee, tobacco, light coconut, toasty, earthy, hints of smoke, . Finishes lightly dry and light to medium roasty bitter with notes of tobacco, toffee and. I like it, great balance, (for me) rather unusual Dunkles, I would put it in the Schwarzbier category, dry and rather roasty. Gets better once it warms a bit (shouldn't get too warm though)

On tap at Sammamera, Freising Tuesday 30th September 2025. Informed that this was unfiltered, however as Loz noticed straight away it's actually quite clear, very good clarity with a large white head. Taste is fresh, citrusssy, dry and a little bitterness but not quite a crispy Pils, it straddles that middle ground, a pleasant beer but more mid table.

Gold with a creamy, white head. Like many of the style, the aroma is dankness, dough and fermenting apples. Taste is mildly sweet with a very faint, grainy bitterness. The relatively subdued sweetness and the hint of bitterness at the finish make this one .. not unpleasant. Refreshing, moderately watery, with a hint of crispness. Tolerable. Slightly above average for the style.

A clear golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of mid sweet breadish wheat malt, some banana, dough. Taste of breadish malt, cereals, wheat, hints of banana, watery mouthfeel.

Hazy chestnut brown colour, creamy beige foam. Roasty, notes of caramel and bready. Some fruity hints and a nice soft hoppy finish. Good Dunkles Bier.
