Description

The origins of the brewery can be traced back to 1797, with an inn and a grocer always mentioned. It has been family-owned since 1919. Today Günter and Rainer Wagner are responsible for the cool liquid from the keg, of which especially the Ungespundete Lagerbier has a cult status in Bamberg and the region. The brewery has an annual production of 17,000 hectoliters.

Poured light golden in color, chill haze mostly.
Nicely dry with some hay, some light peppery, notes, fairly bitter. Quaffable.

Draught at Zum Fransiscaner in Stockholm.
Small semi lastning white head.
Nice malty aroma with a well balanced caramell malt aroma.
A nice malty taste but a litle light body.

0.5l bottle, with Fil and Ryan (thx!). Clear golden body, off-white head. Dry, lightly funky, floral, honeyish malt-driven aroma. Lean, dry taste, honeyish, bit grainy, lightly floral, bitterish, bit eggy. Solid overall!

Честно, был немного разочерован, какая то горечь не к чему, бархатности нету вообще, даже не скажешь что это мюнхенец по стилю.

Garrafa de 50 cl consumida em casa. Sabor a malte docinho com toques de frutos secos.
