Description
Established in 2014, owner Seamus McMahon has set up a lovely brewery in one of the old sheds, located behind the milking parlour. This brewery is set up on a working Dairy Farm. The team have renovated the shed to exacting specifications. The brewery is set amongst the rolling drumlins of County Monaghan. Our aim is to create distinct beers that are brewed with care and affection. We have created a range of well balanced and flavoursome ales that reflect the changing face of the beer market in Ireland.

Bottle @ home. Opaque black color, medium sized quite quickly diminishing beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, dark malts, some coffee notes (yum!) and nicely malt bitter. Body is decent, carbonation is medium to firm, a bit fizzy. Just within limits I'd say, before becoming annoying. Quite like it.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting 27 July. Pours slightly hazy dark copper brown with stable light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with touches of hops and grain. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of yeast and malt and touches of hops and oats. Bitter, dry and estery aftertaste with malty hints. Decent.
